| Bio: | I Am the Clock Maker
I define myself with patience. Each sprocket is to be meticulously formed with precise and careful carvings. My hands grow bloody from the application of tools. The red-flow stalled upon the scars and calluses from a history of task. With each completion of part, with each addition of piece, another gift is formed. My silent shop reinforces the importance of each step and its purpose and my solitude. I sometimes think of a different way, a place without servility. A life with water reflections, a feminine hand and quiet sun movements, but such thoughts are always subject to the importance of time. It is what qualifies the moment of day setting, the moment of high tide. It is time that translates my existence and justifies my harm. It is time for which I exist, to which I am a slave. I often grow tired at my worktable. My eyes closed in repetitions of awake and such darkness. Only in sleep is there no time, or so I thought...
Life Is Elsewhere
...and Jaromil on his own is much more than a mere caricature of someone who plays at being the poet. The final sting is felt only when one understands that Jaromil’s poetry is good and that he himself, as lyric genius, is the real thing.
